In conjunction with the Parisian design business Maison Margiela, Samsung has released a new special edition Galaxy Z Flip 4. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition has a solid matte white body with transparent lines that reveal the phone’s fundamental construction. To complement the white colouring, the phone’s sides are matte silver.
The special edition Galaxy Z Flip 4 also delivers a fresh user experience, according to Samsung, with customised wallpapers and revised icons not seen on standard Galaxy Z Flip 4 handsets.
“The paintbrush artwork was designed with an advanced 3D modeling technique to capture the texture of a rough brush stroke.” Samsung writes in its blog post.
One of the wallpapers has an upside-down phone that catches the scanning action of an X-ray to reveal the phone’s internals.
There are two phone covers included with the limited edition. The first is a hand-painted leather cover with a canvas-like texture that “may alter over time,” according to Samsung. The second is a ring cover with Maison Margiela’s iconic numeric coding ring.
If you want to buy the new Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition, it will be available in certain regions beginning December 1, 2022, including China (Hong Kong), France, and Korea. The phone’s price has yet to be announced by the firm.
Unfortunately, if you live in the United States, you will have to either import the gadget from the aforementioned nations or wait to see whether Samsung releases the device in the North American market in the future.
